Fair Oaks Dairy Farm

Dad Marshall and Great Gram Marshall came for a visit on Nov 7 and while they were here we went on a day trip to Fair Oaks Dairy Farm with Charles, Kim and their kids. It was a great trip. It's about 2 hours from Indy and worth the trip. The farm has over 30,000 cows with 80 calves born everyday. To make a long trip and story short, we were able to take a bus tour through the different cow barns, visit the "milking house" where they milk over 70 cows at one time and got to see a baby calf be born. I highly recommend a visit if you ever get a chance.

Briana and Logan posing in front of a "fake cow" in the Adventure Center at the farm. A neat, interesting and educational place that shows how the milking works and lots of other stuff that I don't have time or space to do it justice. You'll just have to go see for yourself!
