I enjoyed a "kidless" trip to Metamora, IN. It is a small town with lots of little shops with knick-knacks
, country decor and such. These horses were along the side of one of the lanes and I didn't know what they were there for until later I saw them hitched up to ropes and cables and pulling this boat down the canal. It seemed to be nothing hard for them. :)

ahhh...this makes me ever so homesick!!! we used to go to Metamora a couple times a year & i always LOVED it there. sounds like you enjoyed yourself -- especially since it was a "kidless" trip! ha! :-)
